The evening, which was hosted by well-known TV presenter, Carol Smillie, was attended by more than 400 professionals, who had gathered for the awards ceremony.
Our East Kilbride based depot Eclipse Generics, were lucky enough to support the Health Promotion Award which was won by Glenrothes-based Cadham Pharmacy Health Centre for their sterling work in the community. Cadham Pharmacy Health Centre also managed to scoop the highly prestigious Pharmacist of the Year Award. A huge congratulations to you all!
Once again this year, a huge number of entries were received from every Health Board in Scotland across all ten categories, including Pharmacy Business Development and Pharmacist of the Year.
The top industry awards, which recognise and celebrate the contributions of pharmacists, counter assistants, technicians and contractors, as well as suppliers, policy makers and influential figures across Scotland, attracted the greatest number of entries in the awards’ history, and the quality of the applications left the judges almost speechless!
